Hello Everyone,

I am using FireBird v2.0, i am having problem in connecting to the database i.e. when i call isc_connect it give me the error message that is "Unable to complete network request to host "localhost"", and when i check firebird service i was running fine. when i restarted the service the same call to the api isc_connnect succeeded. Can any one tell me where i am going wrong, as this problem was occuring before in version 1.5.3, so i moved upto version 2.0 and again i am having the same issue. When i looked into the firebird.log it contains the error message:

LK_NEW (Client) Mon Jul 24 17:38:40 2006
INET/inet_error: connect errno = 10061
