I am running the SuperServer as an application. According to the
documentation, I would expect the server to find firebird.msg and
alias.conf in the directory above the exe. However, it appears that
the server is looking for firebird.msg at "c:\program
files\firebird.msg" and the alias.conf at "c:\documents and
settings\user\desktop\programming\database\firebird\". Is there
someway to force firebird server to use the directory above the .exe?
I have tried making an entry in firebird.conf - to no avail. Seems
it is not picking up that file either.
