Hi all,
I have a problem with gbak on my Fedora Linux machine. Well, actually
the problem (I think) is that my /tmp partition is too small. When
trying to restore a very large database with gbak I get the following
error...
...
gbak: creating indexes
gbak: cannot commit index RDB$PRIMARY1
gbak: ERROR: I/O error for file "/tmp/fb_sort__5ADji2"
gbak: ERROR: Error while trying to write to file
gbak: ERROR: No space left on device
gbak: ERROR: sort error
gbak: ERROR: action cancelled by trigger (3) to preserve data integrity
gbak: ERROR: Cannot deactivate primary index
gbak: Exiting before completion due to errors
Is there any way to tell gbak to use somewhere other than /tmp for
temporary files? I have loads of space on other partitions.
