Hi All,
I've a 10.6GB FDB (made up of 4 long thin tables) and find that
creating an index takes 3-4 hours+.
During the latter stages of a restore similar effects occur.
After a certain period (appears to be in last 1/4 of restore/index
creation) At this time the CPU usage is very low and the FDB is
growing very very slowly. There is more than sufficient disk space.
Anybody with any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
