Helen,
Thanks for reply. If this helps, my inno setup
instalation copies
folowing files in the same directory where app and
database goes:
- aliases.conf
- firebird.msg
- firebird.conf
- gds32.dll (renamed fb 1.5.3 fbembed.dll - I checked
this is good one)
- ib_util.dll
Aplication works only with gds32.dll, so I had to
rename fbembed.dll to
this name.
I know that *sometihng* is diferent, but not
regarding instalation
scripts - same one, OS - WIN98, IB6.0 installed on
both machines. These
pcs are same, since we used them in our company, and
they are same tuned,
with Win98OE versions installed.
Today one coleague from the field adviced same error
outside the company
at one custommer, but on Win98Machine without IB6.0
installed on it. I
really don't know what is diferent.
I would like to know if somebody had similar
problems, and hopefully how
it was solved.
Regards,
Zile
