Now that I had implemented C++ test cases to invoke api calls that I
need, I like it what I saw. Particularly the flexibility of running
as client/server model as well as stand-alone. That is awesome!
On top of that, the tremendous support provided by all the folks in
the forum is really amazing. I never come across an open source
project with this kind of friendly support before.
Great stuff, guys and gals!
I will use Firebird in my internal applications as the default
database so I don't depends on heavy-duty products like Oracle, DB2,
SQL Server or MySQL.
I will spread the news and hopefully, as I gain experience as a C++
and Java develop using Firebird, I can lend a hand in answering some
simple questions so that the true experts and gurus can be off-loaded
a bit in supporting the product.
