Subject: [firebird-support] Gap Value - What is normal behaivour

Hi All,

With the GAP value for the sweep of a database, is there a value or range that this Gap Value can be that is considered normal, as i type this email the calculated GAP is 40000, twice that of the sweep setting, is this normal ??? what should the GAP range be, also what is considered a SHORT transaction? milliseconds - seconds range??

Craig
