Hi all:
I just visited the site, clicked the downloads, clicked the link labeled
download for the 1.53... using the minnesota mirror. Nothing seemed to
happen. There were no messages except a blurb about downloading should
begin soon - it didn't. My Screen Reader usually tells me I'm downloading
and asks where to put it. First, there are a bunch of check boxes below the
mirror list. Each mirror seems to have it's own download link so what are
the check boxes? Second, is there a home site link where I can get a copy
of FB without worrying about if a mirror is working? Unless things are
diferent from anything else I've downloaded the link I clicked did not work
as expected.
Where have you downloaded recent copies of the DB engines from?
What should I look on my computer for to determine if the download went
through if the download process doesn't tell me what it's doing or when it's
done?
Likely this is a screen reader or mirror problem which I'm not sure how to
handle except find a diferent mirror, or someplace, where I'm sure the
download works.
