Actually NO! That is the old, original version written for Firebird
v.1.0. The source was subsequently given to the firebird-docs
project and has long been available - regularly updated - in a
Firebird 1.5 version. The link for it can be found in the Novice's
Guide section of the F I R E B I R D website,
http://firebird.sourceforge.net/index.php?op=guide where you can
right-click on the link to download the v.1.5 Quick Start Guide directly.

Not recommended to go this route, as prdownloads is a total jungle of
everything since Firebird existed.

Binaries for the latest releases of Firebird are always reachable from the

F I R E B I R D website (http://www.firebirdsql.org) by clicking on
the Download item in the main menu (at the top) and selecting
Firebird Relational Database.
