Hy.
I have a problem with a Server running RHv9.
The Server is an IBM series 206, with 1GbRam and 3Gb PIV Procesor.
It´s running with HTrading enable and the kernel is using it.
I have poor performance with my DB when about 70users access to my
app. running FB 1.5.
I see when i type "Top" in the Linux OS Prompt that the Processor is
begin used up 90%.
I´m looking for the reasons of the high load of the Server.
At a first look, i suppose that i must change the kernel of the
Linux to a not SMP Procesor support nad disable HTrading in bios.
But I'm not sure if this is the only reason.
I have ruled out a bad app. software performance for now.
there is another thing to look in this esscenario ?
Is the new version of FB (2.0) better in performance and stable to
think to upgrade to it ?
Please, sorry for my bad english
