I'm planning to outsource 3 Firebird 1.5 Databases from an Windows
2000 Server to a new PC as dedicated Database Server. If I use Windows
XP Pro on the new system (sure to save licence costs), is it possible
to get performance problems because of the count of clients?
There are 7 clients with 5 connections to 3 Databases on each machine.
Can anybody tell me: will the performance be slower if i use Windows
XP pro as if I use Windows 2003 Server for that machine ?
