Hi All,
I have just tried to deploy an executable on a separate computer to my
development PC (which was XP). On the second NT computer, once I try to run
the exe file, it gives me a standard 'Unable to open database
C:/Path/To/Database.gdb'. ISQL however, still connects to the database. (ie.
fbserver and fbguard are running).
The development was carried out in BDS 2006, and it all works fine on my
development computer. Could there be an internal firewall that is blocking
the access of the program to the Database port ? (I have a ZoneAlarm
firewall that asks if the software can access the database when I run the
exe file)
What could the problem be ?
Thanks
Gaurav
