I am having four machines here, half of which are linux. I can change,
the system, my clients won't, so that's out of question, secondary on
a fresh database (after restore or after all index statistics
recomputed) the tests go like breeze, the problems appear during third
or fourth run. The size is still small, but the indices after 500
rollbacks are slowing the base to the crawl.
