This is my last question about this subject, I hope. : )
I have one firebird normal installation. (by normal installation I
mean that it was installed using the firebird installer)
Now I registered another service, with different name, wich point to
other fbserver.exe copy. In this second copy, the firebird.conf is set
with other port than 3050.
When I try to start my new service, it is stopped, and add a line in
firebird.log of the first installation complaning that there is
another firebird instance already running.
If I stop the first firebird server, the new one start, but using the
port of the first server.
It looks like my new firebird instance is ignoring the firebird.conf
and is using the firebird.conf of the normal installation.
How can I avoid this?
