Is it possible to convince FB to use collations in a case (or accent)
insensitive manner? I noticed that there is a new column called "RDB
$BASE_COLLATION_NAME" and I was wondering if I could add a new
collation that references an existing one but sets the RDB
$COLLATION_ATTRIBUTE bits to e.g. 7. I suspect not as I see things
like "ES_ES_CI_AI" being built explicitly, but it is a real PITA to
have to put UPPER and MIN in everywhere I want CI collation. Is
there a good solution to this problem that does not require
rebuilding every collation into a new DLL?
TIA
