what do you mean? how are you editing? what is the error?

I'd keep looking if I were you. This doesn;t make sense and it's easy to
misunderstand the messages when you're in a state of panic.

I doubt it. be patient, keep looking. do a backup and attempt restore
without overwriting any producton database.

it's been reserved for a very long time - since before V4 as I remember.
Up until dialect 3 came about you were prevented from using it at all.
Since dialect 3, you were permitted to use it as long as you delimited it.
Most tools now don't even tell you that you are trying to use a reserved
word, they delimit it for you end of story.
