Hey all,
Let me first say that I'm a complete newbie to all of this stuff and
am really only looking to do one thing. I've searched a good bit
and this seemed like the only appropriate place to ask (even though
almost all of the questions here seem WAY more advanced than where I
am!)
Basically, I've got some manufacturing software that uses Firebird
1.5. I know a decent amount about the data that is in my database
but sometimes I run into problems where I would like to see the SQL
statements that the software is using to pull data. Again, pardon
all of my terminology here.
I've downloaded and toyed around with a number of "trial-period"
software that have features such as SQL Monitoring but they all seem
to only monitor statements from within their own program. I am
looking for something that can detect queries (and possibly log
them) coming from this manufacturing software to pull data from my
database.
So, I guess my questions are: Is this even a possibility? If so,
can you recommend any software to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance for helping out a newbie! :-)
Tony
