I have a win32 application that I'm porting to x64. But in order to
make my database calls, I would like an x64 version of fbclient.dll.
Although Firebird 2 does not yet have x64 support for Windows, is there
(or can there be) an x64 fbclient.dll that will connect to a 32-bit
fbserver.exe? I'm willing to build the client on x64 unless there is
some fundamental reason that this configuration cannot work.
