Agree with all, but my experience (on W2K server) is that sometimes
suddenly accessrights have changed. I don't know if your db is on a
w2k-server. Have you really checked accesrights?
System account is a builtin Windows-account that usually (!) has
accessrights on all local devices, directories and files. Mind
"usually". SYSTEM should appear in files/directories access rights with
all accessrights granted.
I've seen it where SYSTEM even suddenly was gone... dunno why. Putting
SYSTEM back in and things worked properly. Allso check if FB runs under
SYSTEM-account in Services.
If your server is not Windows, forget the above... Don't know exactly
about unix et all.
