You provided no detail about which Linux/Unix platform you are
running Firebird on nor how you are invoking gbak. You need to
provide these details in order help us to understand what your problem is.
However, if you are running SS on a kernel that implements the NPTL
(New POSIX Threading Library) then you need to EITHER 1) disable NPTL
(instructions are in the v.1.5 release notes) OR 2) use the NPTL
build of the server.
