I am running FB1.5 on a Windows 2003 server with 3GHz processor and
over 3GB of memory. There are usually 20-30 users logged in at any
given time and they are all experiencing slowness! I do daily a
backup and a weekly restore to the DB and the FDB file is at just over
1.3 GB in size! I looked at the server log through IBConsole and it
was riddled with the following message:

GEMTRAK (Server) Tue Jan 10 09:11:40 2006
SERVER/process_packet: broken port, server exiting

Can anyone tell me what might be causing this error and if it is
likely the root of my slowness issues?
