Hi,
I have checked-out and sucessfully built the Vulcan source, but the
problem has come when I try to run it.
I get the message:
inetserver
fbserver: Invalid user (must be firebird, interbase, interbas or root).
when I try to run inetserver.exe as user an administrative user
'firebird'.
winserver.exe runs for a few seconds before dying, leaving only the
the EventLog message:
The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Firebird Server )
cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary
registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a
remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to
retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The
following information is part of the event: Firebird Server error:
1063, StartServiceCtrlDispatcher failed.
Does anyone have any pointers to installing/running Vulcan?
If turns out to be as easy as building it then I will be a happy chap.
Cheers.
