I am trying to get a version of fb1.05 from a version of fb1.02.

Had success in recreating my security.fdb from isc4.gdb and can view using gsec.

Am able to restore .gbk database to .fdb and view the tables from the command line.

I am unable however to connect remotely using ibexpert.

I am running Fedora core4 as my o/s with no firewall installed. I have the gds_db 3050/tcp in my /etc/services. I do not have a firewall running.

Does anyone have any ideas?
