We want to use Firebird with our new
machines all running Suse 9.3 64 .
Now sure the server works great and there are no
complaints whatsoever, but application development
runs into all kinds of snags.
Without going into third party application
details here what really is required is
a Firebird 1.5.X 64 . Is there any hope
to have this in the near future ?
If not we will have to revert to a
32 bit installation to reasonably program
gui applications accessing the server .

The much talked about Vulcan seems to cook
very slowly and enduserwise nothing can be found.

if not my apologies.
