Having not seen the beginning of this post I'm not sure what OS you are
using, however, later versions of windows allow you to create "Restore
Points" so that you can roll back system configurations and such like. If
you have an OS which supports this, it might be worth restoring to a
previous point, i.e. before you installed vpn.
