ping -a localhost
What computer name and IP does this resolve to?
If it is indeed your machine, then can you connect using iSQL?
Also, is it possible your domain is placing a suffix on localhost like
localhost.company.com, which is then pointing to another machine which
would have to be running something on port 3050? Otherwise I am
running out of ideas.
