It appears that the FB installer was installing the .conf files to the root
install_path directory rather that inside the BIN directory.

I moved all files other than the readme, etc and then FB started to work fine.

What's strange is that the installer is the same I used for my initial
installation which worked fine. AND what's even more wierd is that obviously
for FB to work previously the conf files must have existed within the BIN, but
how did they move from there to the root install_path?

I wonder what will happen when I reboot the server?
