I am curious if there is a Firebird backend for GDA or DBI? I was
inquiring on adding support to GNUCash for Firebird. Seems the
developers are considering implemented one or both. Making GNUCash db
independent, and allowing it to work with a variety of dbs.

If not, is there any information that can be provided? So I look into
making something so Firebird can work with applications using one or
either? Anyone already working on this, or care to join in on the
efforts?
