Are you trying to run the database on your laptop from the Win 2000 PC?
If this is the case, what connnection string are you using to connect to the
database.
If the full superserver is installed locally on the win 2000 machine and the
database is
local to this machine, there should be no problem in running it locally on
this machine.

Are you trying to run the database on your laptop from the Win 2000 PC?
