I try to launch gbak on the same machine where FB CS
1.5.2 is running, with the following command line:

c:\database_dir\> gbak -b -v -t -user SYSDBA -password
masterkey "c:\database_dir\DATABASE.GDB"
DATABASE.GDB.back

but I receive the following error message:

gbak: ERROR : unavailable database
gbak: Exiting before completion due to errors

If I include the IP address of the (local) machine, as
in :

c:\database_dir\> gbak -b -v -t -user SYSDBA -password
masterkey "127.0.0.1:c:\database_dir\DATABASE.GDB"
DATABASE.GDB.back

it magically works!

Is there a way to execute the command WITHOUT
specifying the IP address?I need this because I am
migrating from FB1.0 to FB1.5 and I have many scripts
currently in use in a production environment that
don't have the IP Address.
I've also found that with FB Super Server the above
command works without the IPAddress...
