Hi there,
is anybody using the IBOConsole with firebird?
I an intro trouble configuring the access to new created databases. I don't know why but somehow firebird is searching always for my databases in the C:\windows\system32 folder! how can i fix that?
I tried several settings in the firebird.conf, f.e.
ExternalFileAccess = Restrict \data
or
ExternalFileAccess = Restrict c:\program files\firebird\firebird_1_5\data
\data = this is where i put my .fdb files in.
also i tried to change the RootDirectory Entry, but nothing succeeded.
Has anybody an example on settings with specified folders (non standard)? for win2003 server?
I am nearly through google now and can't find any...
Regards
Pat
