I am doing an installation of Firebird SS 1.5.2 on a linux box with
Tao Linux (variation of Red Hat Enterprise). During the installation
process I receive the following error three times:
Starting Firebird server: /opt/firebird/bin/fbmgr.bin: error while
loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
Is this a requirement for an older library? The distro I am using is
current and the version of the library is libstdc++.so.6.
TIA,
Mike
