Everybody keeps mentioning security.fdb. I can only find one file
security.fdb created december 2004 in the programfiles\firebird
directory. I deleted this directory including this file, reinstalled
firebird. And still I cannot log into the server??

Can it be something else?? When I reinstall it on a blank harddrive it
works fine, I just would not like to reinstall all my software, just
to be able to log into firebird.

I even copied this security.fdb from the blank working harddrive to my
old harddrive and despite the security issue some people made this
discussion about, it did not change my problem. I am still not able to
log into my firebird server.

Is there another way to overcome this problem??
