My office production servers ( 2 of them ) are running classic FB
1.5.2 , RHEL 3 , xinetd, 12GB rams and 8 cpus. Our db size are 9GB
already. Our concurrent users are appproximately 500 people comming
form 8 Java apps. So far no problem from the firebird side. As for the
performance it depends on what query the users used. For a heavy load
queries they can takes all cpus resources.
