Hi,
after having read this (outdated) article [1] about tuning Oracle on
Linux, I wonder if there are any experiences about which filesystem
gives best performance to FB databases?
So far I always use ext3 for the partitions I put FB databases on.
To save some system calls, I generally mount all of my ext3 partitions
with the "noatime, nodiratime" parameters. (This should not matter for
database access though I think.)
Best regards,
Yves Glodt
