Does anyone know if or when the performance of returning data with
blob/memo fields will be addressed.

Currently, (Version FB 1.52 with Delphi 7/ or 2005 and dbExpress) it
takes about a second per row to return a result over a remote
communication Internet connectection with Blob fields and sub second
without Blob fields.

Someone mentioned this was a known FB TCP/IP technical problem and
might be addressed in the nest FB release. I have about 250 small
installs of FB waiting for this update.
