I have just developed an application using Delphi V7 and interbase V7.1 hoping to market it, however, think that the interbase licence is expensive and may put off prospective customers therefore am considering convert to Firebird as someone suggested it thus I joined this forum. Can any one tell me what advantages interbase 7.1, if any, has over firebird? Also would i have to installed interbase before installing firbird? I would also like briefly know what the sequence of installation is.
