It is the future, but the future ain't here yet!

It absolutely flies when it's demands are simple and quick. A bit like
MySQL(how dare I say that here...)
I grinds to a halt if one request(thread) spends a lot of time doing a
query.

I've often advocated renaming the releases:
SuperServer renamed to SlimServer
Classic renamed to SMPServer

But, people rather that newcomers go for SS, and get burnt when it's
shortcomings appear.
