Is it possible to run a Firebird server (either SuperServer or Classic)
without running the installer or writing info to the registry? For the
application we are working on (primary deployment platform is Windows), we
are using Firebird as a local database that receives/transmits data to a
master database.
Potentially, we may not be able to run an installer on every computer that
would need to run our application. We could use the embedded server (it
works fine), but then we lose the multi-connnection capability.
Thanks!
