Excuse the newbie question but how does one right a select procedure
that returns data based on a sql statement. I've tried put I'm not
getting anywhere.

The sql statement is

FOR SELECT LOCATION_ID, LOCATION_DESC FROM TBL_LOCATION ORDER BY
LOCATION_DESC
