Hi
I have tried
gbak -b 10.0.0.3:db/bx/bx.fdb 10.0.0.3:db/bx/bx.fbk
gbak -b 10.0.0.3:/db/bx/bx.fdb 10.0.0.3:/db/bx/bx.fbk
neither works.
The full path to bx.fdb is
\\Jvzlinux\Primary\files\db\bx
as seen from Computers Near Me on my Win 2000 Pro PC.
Can I not make a backup from the Win 2000 PC on the Linux box - of a fdb on
the same Linux Box?
Must a backup on a Linux box be initiated on the Linux Box?
Thx
JVZ

You try to backup database on Linux to local path. Have you tried gbak?
gbak -b /path/to/database.fdb /path/to/backup/file.fbk
Does this work?
