Subject RE: [firebird-support] firebird logging

Good Effort!

I'm not sure about de-verbosifying (making it quieter), but there's another
way!...

I handle my logs with 'newsyslog' - each week they are renamed and zipped
up, and logging starts again on a new file.
It means I only keep 10 weeks worth of logs, but being zipped, and very
repetitive in nature, they take up very little space.

On your unix machine, do a `man newsyslog`, or on Linux, `man logrotate` for
more information.
