Is it possible to demo IBOConsole on the thumb drive? I was hoping to
make this connection and then mimic it in my application, but
IBOConsole gives me an error message. When I try the Diagnose
Connection option and select the database on the drive, I get this:

An Server error has occurred while attaching.
Error - ISC ERROR CODE:335544375

ISC ERROR MESSAGE:
unavailable database

Server Communication Test Failed!

Any help is much appreciated.
