Hi,
I have recently tried to install Firebird-1.5.2.4731 onto a
Windows2000 webserver (superserver install)
Installation goes ok and the service seems to be running fine.
However if I try to set-up a server connection using IBConsole I am
receive the error 'cannot attach to services manager'.
Interbase 6 was resident before, however this was un-installed and
the server rebooted prior to the firebird installation.
I was connected to the webserver using Remote Desktop - could this
be a problem?
Prior to this installation I have installed locally to a win2003
server which also previously ran IB6 and this all works fine.
Any ideas would be gratefully received
Paul.
