Downloaded the lateset version, installed as instructed as below:

Install:

1. Single Server Environment
If you are running a single server, just copy the two files to some place
you want, and you ready to go. If you are looking to some 'standard' place,
[Firebird Path]/bin is the place.
When it starts, the utility will search in the registry for the Firebird
Path to locate firebird.conf.

but when I run it it says Firebird Server not installed - while FB 1.52 is
up and running as a Service on my Win 2000 dev. PC?
