Hi,
I'm preparing a box to run Firebird 1.5.2 classic in P4 single
processor with Debian Linux.
I've read that preemptive kernel is to be used with desktop
applications, not server ones. But I was thinking... Since FB Classic
spans one process for each client, doesn't a preemptive kernel helps
to to divide the processing capacity more equally to each client ?
Thanks in advance,
