I'm trying to get gbak to work on a fresh machine without the server
installed. I have Delphi applications that use the embedded server DLL
(renamed to gds32.dll), and they work wonderfully.
gbak complained that it couldn't find fbclient.dll. I copied that over
the machine. Now I get:
gbak: gbak version WI-V1.5.2.4731 Firebird 1.5
gbak: ERROR: unavailable database
gbak: Exiting before completion due to errors
I can usually find stuff via Google, but I'm coming up blank right
now. :(
I could be incorrectly assuming that gbak can run similarly(?). The
old v6 Interbase gbak works fine with server DLL renamed to gds32.dll.
What am I overlooking?
