If you're on Win32 or .NET you should look into Borland's Bold (Win32)
or ECO II (.NET). Included in Delphi Architect. Contains among a *lot*
of other things an auto generated OOR mapping and persistence layer,
with support for schema evolution as your OO model evolves.
