Thanks, I didn't take much care of this DB, I didn't mind if I lost some
data when I killed the FB service with forced writes off, I did it a
dozen times, I wonder I didn't get it corrupted earlier. :-)

Completed. I used
gfix localhost:smc_tp -user sysdba -password masterkey -validate

It kept running for some minutes and ended graciously without any
output. I had never needed to use gfix to fix a corrupted db, SO I
didn't know if it will be verbose telling me what he is doing or just
point errors/corrections. It just terminated without any output. I
thought it had fixed the DB, but when I tried to select I got the same
error, tehn tried to gbak withou success as I wrote on my original message.

I have deleted the DB my notebook is getting low on disk space, and I
had to restore the backup, so the file was deleted. I did like to play
with that corrupted DB to see how many data I could get back, just
curious to see if that was a production DB without back-up, how much dat
will be lost.
