So where did you get the download you are working with? All the
Firebird downloads are on www.firebirdsql.org which also hase links here

So WHAT are you trying to run? Sounds like an old version of Interbase?

I'd recommend at least Service pack 3 - there were a number of network
niggles prior to that!

There should not be anything on 3060 - that is used by the event
